A quick and easy no-bake dessert combining crushed Oreos, creamy pudding, and whipped topping for a luscious treat ready in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2530 Oreo cookies, crushed (regular or double-stuff)
  • 1 (3.4 oz / 96g) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups (480 ml) cold milk (whole milk preferred, 2% is fine)
  • 8 oz (225 g) whipped topping, thawed (Cool Whip or store brand)
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup (40 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate for garnish
  • Optional: fresh berries for color and freshness
  • Optional: almond or oat milk for dairy-free version

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos by placing them in a large zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin or pulsing in a food processor until a mix of fine crumbs and small chunks is achieved. Set aside about 1 cup (100 g) for topping.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups (480 ml) cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Let sit if too runny.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with 1/3 cup (40 g) powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Fold the prepared pudding into the cream cheese mixture gently until fully blended.
  5. Carefully fold in the 8 oz (225 g) thawed whipped topping until the mixture is light and airy with no streaks.
  6. In a trifle bowl, layer 1/3 of the crushed Oreos, followed by 1/3 of the creamy pudding mixture. Repeat layers two more times, finishing with reserved Oreo crumbs on top.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let layers set and flavors meld. Overnight chilling is recommended for best results.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth blending. Fold whipped topping gently to keep airiness. Chill at least 2 hours or overnight for best texture. For gluten-free, use gluten-free sandwich cookies. For dairy-free, substitute cream cheese, whipped topping, and milk with dairy-free alternatives.
