A quick and easy 5-minute party appetizer featuring creamy cheese and tangy dill pickles rolled in tortillas, perfect for gatherings and snack cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped (optional)
  • Tortilla wraps (flour or whole wheat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: splash of hot sauce or sprinkle of smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out at room temperature for about 20 minutes until soft.
  2. Finely chop about 1/2 cup of dill pickles into small, even pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped pickles, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh dill if using. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Mix everything well until smooth and evenly combined.
  5. Lay a tortilla wrap flat on a clean surface and spread 2-3 tablespoons of the creamy pickle mixture evenly over it, leaving about half an inch around the edges.
  6. Starting at one edge, tightly roll the tortilla into a log.
  7. Wrap the rolled tortilla in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to set.
  8. Remove the plastic wrap and slice the roll into 1-inch thick rounds. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to enjoy.

Notes

Soften cream cheese before mixing for smooth texture. Chill roll-ups for at least 15 minutes to help them set and slice easily. Finely chop pickles to avoid soggy wraps. Optional additions include hot sauce or smoked paprika for extra flavor.
