Easy Crispy Two Ingredient Everything Bagels for Two

two ingredient everything bagels - featured image

A quick and simple recipe for crispy, golden bagels made with just self-rising flour and Greek yogurt, topped with everything bagel seasoning. Perfect for a snack or light meal for two.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (120 grams) self-rising flour
  • 1 cup (240 grams) full-fat Greek yogurt, strained if very watery
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning, or to taste
  • Optional: olive oil or melted butter for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup (120g) self-rising flour with 1 cup (240g) Greek yogurt. Stir until a shaggy dough forms, then knead gently for 1-2 minutes until it comes together. If too sticky, add more flour a tablespoon at a time.
  3. Divide the dough into two equal portions. Roll each into a ball, then poke a hole through the center with your finger, stretching to form a bagel shape.
  4. Place bagels on the baking sheet. Generously sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top, pressing lightly to stick. Optionally brush with olive oil or melted butter for extra golden crust.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, rotating the baking sheet halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use thick, full-fat Greek yogurt for best results. If dough is too sticky, add flour gradually. Avoid over-kneading to keep bagels tender. Brush with olive oil or butter for a shinier crust. Baking time may vary slightly; watch for golden brown color. Can pan-fry if no oven is available.
