  • Sea salt flakes (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Nutter Butter cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin, leaving some slightly bigger chunks for texture.
  2. In a medium bowl, blend softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and peanut butter if using.
  3. Add the cookie crumbs to the cream cheese mixture and stir gently until combined into a dough-like consistency. Chill for 10 minutes if too sticky.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals in a microwave-safe bowl or use a double boiler until smooth and glossy.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate using a dipping fork or toothpick, tap off excess chocolate, and place back on parchment paper.
