This Easy Loaded Nacho Football Charcuterie Board takes the best parts of a classic loaded nacho platter and arranges them on a board shaped like a football. It’s a total showstopper that looks like you spent hours on it, but the secret is all in the assembly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large bag (1316 oz) restaurant-style tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) taco seasoning
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup fresh salsa or pico de gallo
  • 1 cup guacamole (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line your large cutting board or sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, breaking it apart, until fully browned, about 7-8 minutes. Drain off excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the cooked beef and add 1/2 cup of water. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. If using black beans, stir them in now and heat through. Set aside.
  4. On the parchment-lined board, arrange tortilla chips in the shape of a football: start with a row down the center, then add rows on either side, tapering the ends to create pointy tips.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the chips.
  6. Spoon the seasoned ground beef (and black beans, if using) evenly over the cheese.
  7. Carefully transfer the board to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and place small bowls of sour cream, salsa, and guacamole at strategic points on the board.
  9. Sprinkle sliced black olives, pickled jalapeños, chopped cilantro, and sliced green onions over the entire board.
  10. Serve immediately.

Notes

Prep all components a day ahead for easy assembly. Use room temperature cheese for better melting. Drain the meat well to avoid soggy chips. Watch the oven closely to prevent burning the edges of the chips.
