These Cranberry Brie Bites are the perfect little package of everything you want in a party bite: buttery, flaky, creamy, and tangy-sweet. Quick and easy to make in just 15 minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 wonton wrappers (square, refrigerated)
  • 1 (8-ounce) wheel brie cheese (double or triple cream)
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Optional: fresh thyme leaves or flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush or spray a 24-cup mini muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Gently press one wonton wrapper into each cup, forming a star or bowl shape. Brush wrappers lightly with melted butter or olive oil.
  3. Cut the rind off the brie and cut into small cubes, about 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) each.
  4. Drop 2-3 small cubes of brie into each wonton cup. Top each with about 1/2 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until wonton edges are golden brown and brie is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let cool in the pan for exactly 2 minutes, then gently lift each bite out onto a serving platter.
  7. While still warm, sprinkle chopped pecans on top and drizzle with a tiny bit of honey.
  8. If using, garnish with fresh thyme or flaky sea salt. Serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t overbake; wonton wrappers go from golden to burnt quickly. Keep wonton wrappers covered with a damp paper towel to prevent drying. Cold brie is easier to cube but room temperature melts faster. Assemble up to 4 hours ahead and refrigerate; add 2 minutes to bake time if starting cold. For best texture, serve immediately after baking.
