A crowd-pleasing charcuterie board featuring a mix of spicy, salty meats and bold homemade dips, perfect for game day snacking and easy to assemble in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Sliced pepperoni (spicy and smoky)
  • Prosciutto (thinly sliced, delicate and salty)
  • Hard salami (adds chew and bold flavor)
  • Chorizo slices (for a smoky, spicy punch)
  • Horseradish cream dip (mix 1/2 cup sour cream, 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, salt, and pepper)
  • Spicy mustard (store-bought or homemade with Dijon and chili flakes)
  • Classic ranch dip
  • Smoky chipotle hummus
  • Crunchy dill pickles (cut into spears)
  • Marinated olives (green and black mix)
  • Roasted nuts (smoked almonds or spiced pecans)
  • Fresh veggies (baby carrots, celery sticks, cherry tomatoes)
  • Crackers and sliced baguette
  • Optional extras: fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme, pickled jalapeños, cheese cubes or slices (sharp cheddar or creamy Brie)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dips: Mix 1/2 cup sour cream with 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Adjust to taste and place in a small bowl. Prepare spicy mustard and chipotle hummus if making homemade.
  2. Slice and prep meats: Slice pepperoni, prosciutto, salami, and chorizo into bite-sized pieces or strips. Fold prosciutto loosely for volume.
  3. Cut fresh veggies and pickles: Wash and trim baby carrots, celery sticks, and cherry tomatoes. Slice dill pickles into spears and arrange in small piles.
  4. Arrange crackers and bread: Slice a fresh baguette into thin rounds and place crackers separately to avoid sogginess.
  5. Build the board: Place dips in small bowls around the board. Fan out sliced meats in groups, folding some for texture. Fill spaces with veggies, pickles, and olives. Add roasted nuts in clusters.
  6. Garnish and final touches: Scatter fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs around edges. Add pickled jalapeños or cheese cubes if using. Ensure dips are topped off and crackers are accessible.

Notes

Prep meats and veggies a few hours ahead and keep chilled; assemble board just before serving for freshness. Use small bowls for dips to keep flavors separate. Fold meats instead of stacking to create volume. Keep crackers separate to avoid sogginess. For gluten-free, swap crackers and bread with gluten-free options or add extra veggies and nuts.
